The case

Oasiz Madrid, one of the largest retail and leisure spaces in Madrid, wanted to offer its visitors a digital experience in line with a different shopping center concept, based on leisure, gastronomy, nature and entertainment.

With a floor area of 280,000 square meters and more than 120 stores, the center needed a solution that would make it easier for visitors to connect and would turn that digital interaction into useful knowledge for managing the space.

To achieve this, Oasiz Madrid adopted Flame Analytics as its Guest WiFi platform, creating a personalized captive portal that offers connectivity in a simple way and builds a first digital relationship with users.

01 The challenge

Improving the visitor's digital experience

Today's shopping centers and leisure spaces not only compete to attract visitors, but also to offer complete experiences throughout their stay.

Oasiz Madrid needed a solution that would:

  • Make WiFi access easy for visitors.
  • Offer a fast and simple connection experience.
  • Create a digital touchpoint within the center.
  • Obtain consented information about users.
  • Better understand the general profile of its visitors.
  • Have a knowledge base for future initiatives.
The challenge was to turn a common service such as WiFi connectivity into a tool capable of adding value both for the visitor and for the shopping center itself.
02 The solution

A personalized WiFi portal to connect with visitors

Flame Analytics deployed a Guest WiFi solution through a personalized captive portal adapted to the identity and needs of Oasiz Madrid.

Through this portal, visitors can access the center's WiFi connection via a simple process, while Oasiz Madrid obtains information provided with consent by users.

This interaction allows the center to:

  • Increase knowledge of its audience.
  • Create its own visitor database.
  • Analyze how usage of the service evolves.
  • Have a new digital relationship channel.

The solution turns connectivity into an opportunity to improve the visitor experience and generate useful information for managing the center.

An experience tailored to a new shopping center concept

Oasiz Madrid is not a traditional shopping center, but a hybrid space where shopping, dining, leisure and experiences coexist.

For this reason, digital connectivity plays an important role in accompanying the visitor throughout their stay and reinforcing the relationship between the physical space and the center's digital services.

Flame makes it possible to manage this experience from a centralized platform, ready to adapt to the needs of the asset.

03 In progress

A new way of connecting with visitors

With Flame Analytics, Oasiz Madrid has a tool that improves the digital experience of the thousands of visitors who come to the center every day.

The WiFi service becomes an additional touchpoint that helps build a closer relationship with users and gather useful information to better understand the center's audience.

This capability supports future strategies aimed at improving the experience and evolving the relationship with visitors.

From connectivity to visitor knowledge

The project marks a step forward in the digitalization of Oasiz Madrid.

The WiFi connection stops being merely a functional service and becomes a source of information that helps the center get to know its visitors better and build new opportunities for interaction.

Thanks to Flame Analytics, Oasiz Madrid adds a digital layer to its physical experience, connecting better with its users and getting ready for smarter visitor management.
