More than fifty participants attended yesterday in Oviedo to the boosting trade day. A conference organized by the City of Oviedo and the School of Industrial Organization (EOI), in collaboration with FADE and Asturian Federation of Commerce, as part of the initiative “Fostering competitiveness and innovation in SMEs Township Oviedo” which recently launched City and EOI, and has co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER).
The conference was inaugurated by Severino Alvarez Zaragoza, President of FAC; Covadonga Ordiz Trinidad Gómez, Councillor of Commerce of the City of Oviedo and Jorge Palacio, Territorial Delegate EOI.
After the inauguration, Carmen Paredes, from FADE, presented the guide Trade CEAT – Asturias, a useful tool that informs businesses about the requirements and procedures, as self-employed entrepreneur in the commercial sector, is required to comply .
Then, it was the turn of José Ramón Redondo, from Sadim, who analyzed the advantages of being on the Internet for businesses. “If you’re not on Google, you do not exist”, said Redondo, who encouraged those present, irrespective of its size and its business, to plunge into the Internet, having website, using social networks, etc. “If anyone seeks what you sell online and you do not appear, you have lost an opportunity,” he said.
The last talk was given by Lucía González Ramos, who spoke about analytics for physical locatioons. She presented Flame Analytics, a tool that aims to be the “Google analytics for the real world”, a software that helps you to better understand the behavior of your customers, what they like, how they move, what items they touch, how long they spend in your store, etc. A revolutionary tool that greatly interested attendees.
