Enjoy this interview!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Retail Interview &#8211; Evolution of society in shopping malls<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">First of all, analyze the current situation\u2026 How are you living it?<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>From my point of view, the current situation of shopping centers is <strong>better than any forecast<\/strong>; pandemic, war, energy crisis and inflation are enormous calamities that could significantly mark our market and yet the damages were limited and <strong>the entire sector proved capable of finding solutions<\/strong> and in some cases even teaming up and today all the main indices are growing, confirming <strong>great resilience qualities<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is the biggest problem or weakness that a shopping center has to face?<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>I believe that the primary task of a shopping center is to guarantee a <strong>level of attendance<\/strong> suitable for the characteristics of the center itself, therefore I believe that the biggest problem is the failure to achieve this standard.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>What happened in the two-year period 2020 &#8211; 2021 led to a sharp <strong>slowdown in shopping mall visits<\/strong>, customers had to <strong>change their habits<\/strong> and many commercial structures are still trying to recover the rhythms of 2019.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Personally I think it&#8217;s just a question of <strong>knowing how to wait<\/strong>, obviously while waiting we must continue to guarantee <strong>maximum<\/strong> <strong>efficiency<\/strong> on all fronts: leasing, marketing and management must continue to pursue the right initiatives and choices in order to <a href=\"https:\/\/flameanalytics.com\/en\/blog\/tips-to-generate-the-best-customer-experience-in-a-shopping-center\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">offer a positive experience to their users<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-45047\" src=\"https:\/\/flameanalytics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/carmila-shopping-centers-1030x329.png\" alt=\"Shopping centers from CARMILA property\" width=\"831\" height=\"265\" srcset=\"https:\/\/flameanalytics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/carmila-shopping-centers-1030x329.png 1030w, https:\/\/flameanalytics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/carmila-shopping-centers-300x96.png 300w, https:\/\/flameanalytics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/carmila-shopping-centers-768x245.png 768w, https:\/\/flameanalytics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/carmila-shopping-centers.png 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 831px) 100vw, 831px\" \/><\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What role does technology play? How does it help a Shopping Center in the current situation?<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>I believe that technology plays a <strong>complementary<\/strong> <strong>role<\/strong> to the dynamics of a shopping centre, it is more a means than an end.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>It is certainly necessary to <strong>ensure<\/strong> <strong>communication<\/strong> in every direction, it is essential to make the common spaces of the galleries more modern, but I believe that the shopping center is and will always be a <strong>physical place<\/strong> where the customer has both direct <strong>purchasing<\/strong> <strong>experiences<\/strong> and <strong>social<\/strong> <strong>interaction<\/strong> <strong>experiences<\/strong> that can never be replaced by technology and this is their <strong>real<\/strong> <strong>strength<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How do you achieve customer loyalty now? What do you think this customer is looking for? How can we offer them an optimal experience?<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>I think this is the question that all insiders constantly ask themselves and I don&#8217;t think there is an easy and unambiguous answer and maybe that&#8217;s right.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>We all know that customer <strong>tastes and needs are constantly evolving<\/strong>, that there are many types of customer and there are many <strong>variables that influence<\/strong> the results.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Everyone has their own recipe which is the result of analyses, interviews, intuition, experience, etc. almost all these recipes are potentially valid but the only <strong>objective data<\/strong> that can certify the goodness of the recipe used remains the entrance number to the shopping center.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Are you optimistic about the future of this sector?
