How the AI Revolution Is Changing Traditional Marketing

23 September, 2022/in Collaborators Blog, news /by Flame analytics

AI is the “missing element” in marketing. Businesses can incorporate AI technologies into their marketing campaigns. In doing so, they can provide prospects and customers with outstanding experiences. Plus, they can drive revenues and sales and foster brand loyalty like never before.

The AI revolution is underway, and marketers must keep pace. Here are three ways marketers can integrate AI into their campaigns.

1. Augmented Reality (AR)

AR lets marketers deliver interactive experiences. Marketers can utilize AR to add digital visual elements to real-world environments. Prospects and customers can use their smartphones and other connected devices to access these elements. From here, they can enjoy amazing experiences.

To get started with AR, you should learn as much as you can about your brand’s products. This allows you to consider how you can use AR marketing to showcase these products to your target audience.

Think about what makes your brand’s products stand out from those of competitors. Then, you can leverage AR to help prospects and consumers engage with your brand and explore its products by placing them in their physical surroundings. For example, if you sell coffee tables, you can use AR to show potential customers what a certain coffee table would look like in their living room.

This can help your brand distinguish itself from the competition, allowing customers to visualize your products as part of their daily life. At the same time, it can lay the groundwork for long-lasting customer partnerships.

2. Virtual Reality (VR)

Marketers are increasingly driving the VR market’s growth. They are using VR technologies to create immersive 3D environments. Prospective and current customers can interact with a brand and its products in these environments. This helps marketers drive consumer engagement from the comfort of their own homes.

With VR, marketers must establish goals. Consider how VR can complement your existing marketing campaigns or help you create new ones. At this point, you can explore VR technologies and how they can be used to bolster your marketing efforts.

Utilize VR to showcase products and tell your brand’s story. VR can provide a learning tool that bridges the gap between your brand and its target audience. It can also help you explain why your brand is unique and ensure you can provide experiences that meet or exceed audience members’ expectations. For an example of innovative VR marketing, TOMS has immersed potential customers into the world of the people that they would be helping by purchasing a pair of their shoes. They put forth that it is a fantastic way to create empathy in the minds of consumers.

3. The Metaverse

The metaverse is more than just a buzzword. It is a 3D model of the internet and represents a combination of both virtual and mixed-reality worlds. On top of that, the metaverse promises to have far-flung effects on marketers around the world in the years to come.

For example, malls are being created in the metaverse. They let shoppers go from store to store and make purchases, much in the same way they would in a brick-and-mortar mall. As the metaverse expands, expect more malls to crop up across the environment. At this point, metaverse malls may become more popular than their brick-and-mortar counterparts.

Many globally recognized brands are capitalizing on marketing in the metaverse. For example, Roblox is establishing virtual environments in the metaverse. Roblox is also promoting itself as a “shepherd” of the metaverse. As such, Roblox is one of the companies leading the push for metaverse engagement.

If you want to market your brand in the metaverse, you should plan ahead. Take time to explore the metaverse and the AI technologies it utilizes. You should also analyze your target audience and its interest in the metaverse. Next, you can produce metaverse environments that your audience enjoys. You can maintain these environments and continue to explore new metaverse growth opportunities as well.

Do Not Wait To Start Using AI for Marketing

AI is playing a major role in retail and other industries. You can pursue AI technologies for marketing and learn about their benefits and integrate these technologies into your everyday operations. This enables you to start reaping the benefits of AI right away. Over time, you can continue to invest in AI for marketing. As a result, you will be well equipped to get the most value out of AI in your marketing campaigns.
